New York City Recap

Hi Mama and Papa! Just one week until we're home to give you both a big hug!

I wanted to share some photos from our NYC trip. We had the best time and the weather was just perfect. We had snow our first full day and then pretty crisp sunny days for the remainder of our trip.

Landry had a ball exploring the city, going to the Rockettes, riding the subway and eating pasta and pizza daily.

It was great catching up with you both via FaceTime! Looking forward to seeing you lots soon!

Hi Mama and Papa! My mom just arrived in Dallas last night and we're all packed up and ready to go to New York tomorrow morning.

Once we get back we'll just be days away from packing up again and flying home to see you. We're excited! It's going to be a wonderful Christmas with the whole family together in California. I'm very excited for a California Christmas. It's been a while!

So last week I was in Canton, which is about an hour east of Dallas, shopping for our website and new store. I literally stopped in my tracks when I came across a booth with these giant metal signs inside. 

I know the spelling is a tad off, but look!!! Even that giant ray of sunshine pointing directly at "ain't" in my photo! Well, these amazing signs made me think of you, giggle and just think it was all a sign!

I know it's no fun right now waiting for treatment and doctor's updates. We're thinking of you all the time and we'll give you a ring tomorrow via FaceTime from New York to chat and catchup.

Major Catch Up Time!

Good morning Mama and Papa!!!!!

We are so happy mommy finally got her computer's storage problem fixed! We have so much to catch you up on!!! Since we've talked last, we enjoyed Halloween, our final lake house trip, Thanksgiving and lots of fun in between.

Here are some of our favorite moments since we last wrote you!

Papa, we hope you're feeling good and we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers everyday and night. We can't wait to give you a big hug and checkup in a couple weeks!

Hi Mama and Papa!

I'm so sorry we have been off the blog lately. It's been a very busy time between Flea Style Summit, the fall shows, transitioning Landry into kindergarten, buying this new building and selling the lake house. I hope you're feeling better Papa. I will call you tonight with the kids on Face Time!

Things are moving along with the buildings. Here is the link to the listing where you can see some images. We close November 7th. Can't wait to give you a tour on Face Time soon!

The kids are doing great. Landry is loving school and her teacher Mrs. Keffer. She is starting to learn how to read and it's so fun to watch. Barrett is also loving his little class and Mrs Williams. He's also LOVING soccer! Last week he made another goal, although it was in the wrong goal!

We're gearing up for Halloween. Landry is going to be Disney princess Elena and Barrett is going to be Captain America. They're so excited they're already wearing their costumes all around the house.

Michael and I took a trip to Arizona with friends a couple weeks ago for our anniversary and had a great time. It was wonderful to take a pause from work and get some quality time together with some dear friends of Michael from childhood and college.

We booked our flights for Christmas! We will be home 12/21-31. We can't wait to have a good ten days with family and to celebrate Ryan's wedding! I am trying to hop home for a couple days without the family if I can find the time, too.

Good morning Mama and Papa! We hope you're feeling better, Papa. I heard from my parents that you were nauseous this week, I'm so sorry to hear that. That's just the worst! We tried Face Timing you a few times but you didn't pick up. We will try again today!

It's been a busy week here since we last chatted. I have a big Flea Style event next Saturday so we've been working like crazy to prepare for it. It's a conference that we host with about 200 attendees. Very excited for it to get here -- and be over at this point!

The kids are both really enjoying school, their new teachers and friends. Barrett is also enjoying soccer and yesterday had a goal at his game! I'm not sure who was more excited him or his groupies on the sidelines!

This week Barrett got a bike. He loves it! It took him about a day to get the hang of it but now he's addicted to it and wants to ride every single day!

This weekend we've had lots of kids activities. Yesterday we had soccer and then a birthday party for one of Landry's friends. It's beautiful out. I wish we were back at the lake!
